Daylight Saving Time

Daylight Saving Time

Are you still manually changing the time on your computer clock each time daylight saving time rolls around? If you are, there’s no more need to do that (unless you want to, of course).

In order to catch the next time change, double click on the clock (located in the bottom right hand corner of your desktop) and select the Time Zone tab. Under the map that is shown for the different time zones, there is a checkbox that says “Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes.” Make sure that is checked and from now on, your computer will change the time for you.

You’ll then have one less clock to change when you have to spring forward or fall back! Your computer is there to make some things easier for you, so why don’t you let it do this one thing for you? It’s a very cool feature that we can easily take advantage of.

Of course, we just passed the Spring time change, but you’ll be all set for the Fall when we have to do it again. You gotta love that, right?!
