What are the most popular search engines on the Web today? I know about Google and Yahoo!, but aren’t there others?

Yes, there are several other search engines besides the ever so popular Google and Yahoo! When people first started getting into computers and using search engines a lot more, Yahoo! was the most well known and the most used. In time, Google surpassed that with some new and distinct features. But, what some people don’t know is that there are many others that you can use as well.

And those are just a few of the other search engines that are available for use on the Web today. There are even probably some that you know about that I didn’t list. Maybe you have a favorite one to use, because you like the way it is set up. That’s excellent if you do!
Most of the search engines listed above have a similar layout. They all pretty much let you search for the same things, such as the Web, Images, News, People, Audio, Video, etc. They are all very well rounded and they can help you get your search done right. If you still like using Google or Yahoo!, there is nothing wrong with that either! But, now you have an idea of how many other ones are out there and maybe you can mix it up a little next time you do an online search!
