Uninstall That, Please

We here at WorldStart like to share many different Firefox extensions and Greasemonkey scripts with you so that you can try them out and see what’s useful. Sometimes you may like what we recommend and other times, you may not. And that’s okay! Well, today, I’m going to show you how to uninstall any of those Firefox extensions and Greasemonkey scripts you just don’t really care for. Let’s get started!

Firefox Extensions

Uninstalling a Firefox extension is fairly simple. Just follow the steps below:

1.) First, open up your Firefox Web browser.

2.) From the top menu bar, select Tools.

3.) Scroll down and select Add Ons.

4.) Next, click on the Extensions button. A list of all your installed extensions will then appear.

5.) Depending on how many extensions you have installed, you may need to scroll down to find the one you want to remove.

6.) Once you find the right one, click on its icon and the proper buttons will then appear.

7.) Select the Uninstall button and then confirm your action by hitting Uninstall once again.

8.) This notification will then be displayed: “This add on will be uninstalled when Firefox is restarted.”

9.) Now, all you have to do is close out Firefox and open it again. Presto! The add on has been removed. You can then do the same thing for any others you’d like to uninstall.

Greasemonkey Scripts

To get rid of an unwanted Greasemonkey script, just follow these simple directions:

1.) Open Firefox and right click on the Greasemonkey logo in the lower right hand corner.

2.) A menu will then appear. Select Manage User Scripts.

3.) On the right hand side, click on the Greasemonkey script you want to uninstall.

4.) Next, select the script and press Uninstall.

5.) The script will then be removed instantly!

That’s all there is to it. I hope this one has helped you out!
