I discovered HealthTap through this article and after checking out the site myself, I decided I’d share it with all of you. At HealthTap you can ask medical questions, find a doctor, or learn about a topic – all from their handy-dandy search engine.
You’ll notice a ticker feed of questions automatically scrolling across the bottom of the page. Those questions have been answered by real doctors. To get started, just type a question, topic, or doctor’s name into the search engine and click the Ask Doctors button. For more information on the site, I suggest you click the Learn More link and watch the video that loads.
Signing up is easy and free, just click the green Sign Up button at the top of the page. Then fill out the form with the pertinent information as well as your designation as Member/Patient, Caregiver, or Doctor. Then click the green Sign Up button below the form to submit the information.
The nice thing is that you can also get HealthTap for your mobile device, it is available for the iPod, iPhone, and Android devices. While not a replacement for medical treatment this site provides a great way to find out medical information! Check it out today!
