This site is dedicated to bringing you advertisements from the past. It’s fun to look at the technology ones and see how they panned out.
For example, the advertisements for word processors, writing with your voice, the everything set, and even the midge-mobile and comparing them to their counterparts today tablets, dragon speaking naturally/siri, computers/tablets/notebooks, and power wheels is fairly interesting and entertaining.
I discovered this site because a friend and I were talking about how we would like to have robots to clean our houses, and that we felt dismayed that we didn’t have all the technology promised by classic 80’s science fiction movies. I discovered Willy in a Google search.
Navigation is a breeze because the site is setup blog style, so all you have to do is scroll down to look at past entries. There’s also a menu on the right side of the page that allows you to navigate via tags.
