Well Robert, neither will mine and I found that out at the most inconvenient time possible, when I needed to print something off and deliver it signed somewhere that very day. Here’s what I did to take care of the issue.
You can head on over to the Windows 8.1 compatibility center and search your printer by model number. Lucky for me, mine was compatible.
Then it was time to head over to the HP site and find the driver and select my operating system, then download and install.
If it turns out that your printer isn’t compatible with Windows 8.1, unfortunately it may be time for a new printer. But first, make sure to check with support for your printer’s manufacturer because new drivers may be available.

All I did was this:
My Document was in WORD. I pressed FILE, then pressed my PRINTER type, then I pressed PRINT and PRESTO, it printed!!
