Here, I’ll select a book about illuminated manuscripts during the renaissance. I can choose to read it online or download it as a PDF.

If I choose to read online, Google Books will open it for me to read in a browser.

If I choose download a PDF reader will open and I can choose to click the icon to download and save the file. Some of these files are quite large because of the amount of images, so this could take awhile. As long as you have a PDF reader, you should be able to read these books on a PC, tablet or even a smartphone.

You’ll fine books featuring the works of many artists, many of which you may be familiar with. I came across a Victorian era photographer named Julia Margaret Cameron that I was not familiar with and I entranced by her images and the history behind one of the first female photographers

This site is a great place to explore art and you can’t beat the price!
