The remake of Annie and the new Brad Pitt movie Fury were among those hacked.  Later, many Sony employees received threatening e-mails saying that they and their families would be in danger if Sony did not meet the hackers unspecified demands.  Some think the attack may have come from North Korea in retaliation for a Sony comedy about an assassination attempt against Kim Jong-un. While North Korea denies involvement in the hacking, officials did say they approved of the attack and that it was a “righteous deed.”
