Some of my fondest memories from childhood involve road trips. I can remember taking a day trip with my dad to go fishing, traveling with my grandparents to their campground, and even visiting amusement parks out of state. All of which are great memories.

What I like about Roadtrippers is that not only can you plan road trips, but you can also just check out destination to get a sense of whether or not you want to travel there.

When you land on the main page, you’ll see a large text box that ask where you want to go. You can type in a destination, and search for it.  This will help you discover places you want to travel to.

Or you can type in a destination and then click the Plan a Trip link the pops up in the text box instead. This will let you put in a starting destination, the dates of your trip, and let you select things you want to add to your plan like food, hotels, and attractions.

If you scroll past the text box, you’ll find featured content that offers options in several categories like Pop Culture, Off Beat, Outdoors, Camping, Destinations, and Rides. You can also check out those categories by clicking their respective button.  I loved this stunning time lapse video of Utah’s Ice Castles taking shape that was featured.
