I found this site when I was looking for some annotations for a poem I needed help understanding. I have a very hard time connecting with poetry analytically. I was so happy I stumbled upon it, because it’s amazing (if only for all the T.S.Elliot people have annotated)!

When you arrive at the site click Learn More, and it will describe what the site does and how to use it. People from all over the world annotate music, literature,  history, law, tech and more!

Next pick one of those topics that interest you. Each topic has its own landing page. There you’ll find featured annotations, the most recent annotations, an about blurb for the topic you’re visiting and more! If you don’t see what you’re looking for you can click the See More button near the bottom right corner of the page. You can also use the search field near the top of the page to look a specific text.

The Lit section had fun extras like this list of idioms, and even offers SAT words, so it’s great for studying!

In order to register click the Sign Up button, select the service you’d like to login with (Facebook, Twitter, or Email) and then you can create your own annotations! It also allows you to follow annotations if you want to come back to them or find out when they’ve been updated.

I hope you’ll enjoy this site as much as I did. Go check it out today!
