Although I have been an avid user of XP since dirt was invented, I am having transitional problems with this ‘new system!’
Two problems actually.
Problem 1. How do I stop this continual site tracking ?
Problem 2. How do I stop my system from ‘turning off after only or three minutes of idle time?’

Site tracking is a function of your browser. You don’t say which one you use, but since Internet Explorer is the most widely used browser, I’ll talk about it.
Open Internet Explorer, click the gear to open Settings, choose Safety and then Turn on Tracking Protection.
The Manage add-ons window will open. Click Tracking Protection.
Now click Get a Tracking Protection List online.
You can choose lists from companies like AdBlock that block tracking by third-party sites.
When you click add, you’ll be asked if you want to add a list. Choose Add list.
When you check tracking protection in your add-ons, you’ll see the list has been added. You can also double-click on Your Personalized List to create a custom list.
Microsoft had wanted Do Not Track to be the default in Internet Explorer 11, but other sites refused to cooperate. Yahoo even said it would simply ignore signals from Do Not Track. Advertisers were outraged, but some privacy experts also said that enabling it by default was wrong and that users needed to make the decision.
