Do you remember the cronut craze that hit New York in 2013? Well its inventor, Dominique Ansel, has shared a home version of his favorite recipe.

Today’s site is that recipe! Now you can make the delicious donut-croissant hybrid in your own home!

From time to time I like to be really adventurous in the kitchen. I’ve tackled 14 layer cakes, candy making, and now the cronut. Be prepared to be dedicated, this delectable pastry takes three days to make according to Ansel’s instructions, but it is totally worth it.

The site offers you the full ingredient list and recipe  broken down into instructions for each day. Then you’ll find recipes for the ganaches, flavored sugars, and glazes.

In addition, I suggest checking out this post in addition to the recipe which offers you 10 Things You Need to Know Before Making a Cronut.  The tips are great and include cutting the time down to two days, making cronut h0les, and figuring out where to buy some of the harder to find ingredients.

I hope you’ll give this recipe a whirl!
