This site demonstrates the amazing speed at which data is collected on the internet.

When you load into the site you will see different colored boxes labeled for different popular companies on the internet like Tumblr, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and more.

Each box shows the number of data created in relation to that company. For example, YouTube’s box show how many videos have been uploaded and how many have been watched. FourSquare shows how many people have checked in.

As you check it out, the page keeps track of how many seconds you’ve been on the page, and how many GB of data have been transferred over the internet in the space of that time.

This site offers a new way to see internet use through data. I thought it was a really cool way to see how much social media, shopping, app downloads, searches, and streaming are happening at any given moment.

Go check it out for yourself today!
