Did you know Google has a dot org? I’m sure I knew about it at some point, but it came to my attention again, so I thought I’d share it with all of you.

Local Giving – this is the section of the site that brought my attention back to Google’s charitable organization. They’ve started a challenge called the Google Impact Challenge. It travels to different regions and asks local non-profits how they would use innovation to make a better world. Then they invite the public to vote for the projects they think will have the greatest impact potential from the non-profits they’ve talked to.

Global Giving – here you can see the results of Impact Challenges and the Awards. You can also learn more about Google’s Seed Funding.

If you click Special Programs – you’ll ┬ábe able to see where Google is giving. I was amazed at how current their list feels with inclusion of the Zika virus at the top of the list.

On the main page, where I normally start talking about navigation, you can find the items they’ve spotlighted as well as the latest news and some statistics.

Go check it out for yourself today!
