A reader is having a problem with a Facebook faker: “My problem is someone keeps sending a friend request in my name to people who are already my friends and saying I won a lot of money and somehow they could be part of this. I changed my password 4 times and contacted FB with no help. Any suggestions?”
Changing the password on your account won’t do any good. The person isn’t using your account. You haven’t actually been hacked. This faker has created an account using your name and probably stolen a photo of you. There’s nothing you can do with your account to stop it. But you and your friends can report this faker to Facebook. You or your friends will need to go to this crook’s profile to do it.
