PicsArt: Edit A Photo

Yesterday, in Part 1 of this series, we downloaded and installed the free PicsArt App from the Windows Store. Click here to read part 1.

Now, let’s have some fun with a photo.  Here’s a look at the edit screen.

On the far left is the icon for Add-Ons. This is where you can find both free and paid goodies to decorate your photos with.

Next to that is the Tool icon. Click it, and you’ll get options to crop, resize, and add all sorts of effects.

Each tool can be adjusted.

There are tools for cutting out part of the image, as well as a selection of stickers and “magic” effects. You can adjust colors, opacity, and position for the effects.

You can even add text, lens flares and actually draw on the image. Plus there’s a big selection of frames and borders. There are paid options for these effects, but you’ll have plenty of options just using free items. Play around with all of the possibilities and have a good time.

When you’re happy with the image, you can save or share it.

There’s a lot more fun to be had with this app and we’ll check out more features in a future tip.
