If you repeatedly see the battery plugged in not charging error on your PC and you know the battery and power cord are in good shape, the issue could be with the drivers for your battery.
Here’s how to fix that. Make sure you follow the steps exactly and in the order listed. Start by unplugging the power cord from your laptops charging port. Then go to your start menu and choose to shut down.
Now remove the laptop battery. Leave it out, plug the laptop back in, and restart. Once you restart, type Device Manager in your search box and click on the results.
Click on the arrow next to Batteries.
Right-click on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery and choose Uninstall from the menu.
Shut your laptop down again. Once again, unplug the power cord. Replace the battery. Turn your laptop on again and Windows should reinstall your driver. If the driver doesn’t reinstall automatically, just go back to Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method and right-click again. Choose Update driver from the menu.
If that doesn’t help, the issue may have to do with the physical state of the battery or cords.

Patty, you can download ‘PDF Creator’ (Cyn recommended it quite awhile back & I use it every day). After you download it, use Print Preview. You can select the pages you want printed. Remember to choose ‘PDF Creator’ on your printer, when the print option comes up. However, it w/b a PDF file you create and w/b in Documents where you can put it in any file folder you choose and print it later from there. That way, you can refer back to any PDF you create and only print as needed, and only print pages you choose. Trish
