If you find yourself corresponding with people who don’t speak English as a first language, you might want to check out. Outlook.com email offers a feature that will automatically translate messages in your inbox. Here’s how to enable it:
Start by opening your browser and going to your inbox. Click the Settings gear at the top right.
From the drop-down menu, choose View all Outlook settings.
Choose Mail and then Message handling.
You can choose between Always translate messages, Ask before translating, or Never translating. If you’d prefer to know if something was originally in a foreign language, keep Ask me checked. If you’re concerned about foreign language spam, choose Never translate.
You can select from a long list of languages to translate the message into.
And you can choose to exclude emails in certain languages from translation.
