A reader wants to know the scoop on a service for your PC:
“Is Driver Support One any good?”
That’s not a simple “yes” or “no” answer. I will say that it’s not necessarily a scam. They really do scan your PC and look for issues.
However, they only fix the issue if you subscribe to their $9.99 a month tech support service.
Some users also complain that there are lots of unwanted pop-ups and redirects to other sites.
There are other system optimization tools out there for less money. And truthfully, Windows already has built-in features that allow you to check for drivers and optimize your system.
So I’d say that Driver Support One falls into the category of unnecessary.
