Google Photos is a free service from Google that offers photo storage, organization, and editing options. You can use it on a phone or tablet and also with a browser.

You can use Google photos both on your Android phone and with a browser. Today, we’ll check out how it works using a browser.
Start by going to Google.com or your Gmail inbox. Log in and click the square of squares on the upper-right side.
Scroll down to Photos on the pop-up menu.
The first time you access Photos, you’ll see this pop-up. It will automatically set you up to receive emails about Photos. If you don’t want these messages, just click on the blue toggle switch to slide it to the off position.
If this is your first time using Google Photos, you’ll see this screen. You can also download apps that allow you to manage photos on your Android or iPhone. This is pretty handy since that’s where most of us take photos these days.
To add photos or videos, you can drag and drop the files right into the center of the screen.
Or click upload at the top of the page.
We’ll start by creating an album. Click on the big + icon next to Create.
Select Album from the pop-up menu.
Name the album.
To add photos, click on Add photos.
Choose Select from Computer.
Select your photos.
Choose your size. You get 15 GB of storage at high resolution or unlimited storage a lower resolution. For most home photos, the lower resolution works okay.
You can also choose to install the backup and sync app to automatically back up all photos from your computer and connected drives.
The images are now in your album.
