Mac Trackpad Gestures

I enjoy my Mac laptop but getting used to using the trackpad has been something of a challenge. I’m more of a mouse girl myself.

I put together this handy guide to remind you (and myself) how to get the most out of my trackpad.

Let’s check out some basic gestures:

To click on something, tap with one finger.

To right-click on an item, tap with two fingers.

Double-tap with two fingers to zoom in on a website or document.

Swipe those two fingers up or down to scroll.

Pinch two fingers together or apart to zoom in and out.

More those same two fingers around each other to rotate an object.

To drag and drop an item, use three fingers to drag and a tap to drop.

I hope this makes using your Mac just a little bit easier.
