Facebook: Review Your Posts

Here’s a quick tip to check to see if anyone’s tagged you in any posts.

Start by opening Facebook in a browser. It doesn’t matter which browser. Click the arrow that looks like an upside down triangle at the top right.

Choose Settings from the drop-down menu.

When Settings opens, click on Privacy at your left.

Click on Review all your posts and things you’re tagged in.

The Activity Log will open.

At the left, we’ll start with Timeline Review.

You’ll see posts you’ve been tagged in. If you like, you can add the post or posts to your timeline. If they are added to the timeline, anyone looking at your timeline will be able to see them.

You can also click on the three dot icon in the corner of the post to remove your name from the post.

Click on Photo Review and you’ll see images that Facebook thinks might be you. This is only active if you have facial recognition turned on.

Click on Posts to check out your recent posts.

Scroll down to see your posts.

At the right corner of each post, you can click to control the privacy settings.

Click on the Edit icon to hide or delete from your timeline.

Choose Activity you’re tagged in to see when others have mentioned you in posts and comments.

Click the Edit icon at the right to remove a tag or report it if you’re tagged in spam or some type of malicious post.

Choose Other’s posts to see what other folks have shared to your timeline.

Click on the Edit icon to remove items from your timeline.

Click on Photos and Videos to see all images and videos that are posted.

Click on Photos You’re Tagged In to see any images you’re tagged in.

Click on the Edit icon to remove a tag.

Click on Likes and Reactions to view all of your reactions to other people’s posts. You can click the edit icon on your reactions to remove them.

Click on Comments to review all of your comments. Choose More for more options.

Click on Friends to review all your activity such as friends you’ve added or removed or your friend requests.
