PatternJam

I heard about this site on one of my favorite knitting podcasts. The host had just come back from Quilt Con in Texas and had this site to share with her viewers. I thought it might be an awesome Cool Site to share so I went and checked it out! After poking around the site for a few minutes, I just knew I had to share it with all of you!

So what are you getting at PatternJam? You’ll get access to a free quilt pattern maker that allows you to design a quilt from scratch or a preloaded pattern. You can select the style of quilt you want to make, choose fabric from their database so you can see what it looks like before you make it, and then even get cutting instructions for your design.

When you arrive at the site the very first thing I would do is click the Help button for the How to Use PatternJam  tutorial video that not only explains the premise of the site, but also walks you through how to use it.

But you know what’s even better? It’s not limited to quilts, you can also find pattern templates for accessories, aprons, bags, children’s clothing, decor, quilts, and softies!

I think if you like to quilt or sew this is a must-check out site! I’ve bookmarked it for myself when I finally commit to learning to sew.
