Share What You Want!

Sometimes when you share a link to an interesting story, it’s hard for the person reading the story to know exactly what part of the story you think they’ll find interesting, especially if it’s a long article.

However, there’s a quick way to take people to exactly the part you want them to read if you share an article using the chrome browser.

It’s called Copy link to highlight. When you use that feature, folks clicking on that link will go right to the part of the page you want them to read instead of to the top of the page.

Here’s how to use it. Scroll down to the part of the article you’d like to send and highlight it by left-clicking and dragging your mouse.

Then right-click for a pop-up menu. Choose Copy link to highlight.

Paste that link into an email, a message, or post it on social media. However, you’d ordinarily share a link.

When the recipient clicks on the link, they’ll end up right where you want them to be on the page.
