Samsung hopes to change the smartphone game with its new Galaxy Z Fold 5. This folding smartphone does double duty.
If you find smartphone screens too small, you’ll want to check this one out. When the Android phone is closed, it looks like an ordinary smartphone and offers a 6.2″ front display. However, when you open it up, there’s a larger fullscreen display of 7.6″. It allows space to display multiple apps.
Plus, you can even add a keyboard and mouse. The flex hinge allows you to adjust the screen to your preferred angle.
When the phone is opened, you’ll have a taskbar similar to a PC or Mac.
You can choose between 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of internal storage. The phone features a triple rear camera setup: 10MP 3x optical Zoom Telephoto, 50MP Wide Angle and 12MP Ultrawide. – Front camera: 4MP under-display camera. and the cover camera is 10MP.
All this technology does not come cheap; the suggested price for a phone with 256 GB of storage is $1599, with the 1 TB model running $2159. It sounds pricey, but when you consider this is an ultra-fast personal computer in your pocket that also takes high-definition photos and videos, it seems more reasonable. (It also makes phone calls. Which is the thing I do least often on my smartphone)
