Why do you have to be a paid member to receive our newsletter? We want to keep our newsletter ad-free and we don’t ever want to be in the position of not telling you about a great product or service because we want to sell you something else. Plus, maintaining the site and sending the emails is an expensive proposition.
Sending emails to a large mailing list can cost thousands of dollars a month. (Postal mail isn’t the only mail that’s expensive.) By having paid subscriptions, we can focus entirely on creating new content and guides for you. No questionable gadgets or old software for sale – just top-quality tech tips.
