Paris, City of Light

Paris, City of Light

I’ve done it again! I’ve found another great site full of amazing photographs. This time the photographer is Arnaud Frich and the photos are of Paris, France. And trust me, they are really, really beautiful.

To navigate, you start on the first page of the collection. Just click the thumbnails to enlarge the photographs that you are curious about or would just like to see larger. Then once you’re done with page one, you can scroll to the bottom of the page and click the arrow to go to the next page.

Notice that there are two sizes you can view the pictures in, either 750 or 1250. If you have a slower connection you may want to check out the 750 size for faster load times.

If you scroll past the arrows at the bottom of each page, you’ll find a little note about how the pictures were taken and the sizes that they are available to be viewed in.

On the last page of the gallery, there is a panorama of the city at night from the roof tops with all the monuments listed and pointed to. I thought this was a very neat idea and it really helps you to see the scope and majesty of the spread of monuments from one end of the city to the other.

You may also notice a link in orange called “All the Plates.” This pops up in another window and allows you to look at all of the Paris plates at once, as well as, gives you access to the index. The index allows you to get a look at some of the towns and landscapes, including some churches. Also in towns and landscapes, you can find gorgeous pictures of Rome.

Either way, I think you’ll be captivated by the color and beauty of these photographs. I know I was. I couldn’t even pick a favorite.…noramic-pl1.htm
