There are so many ways to navigate this site, it is just really crazy! You’ve got menu bars at the top and the bottom, as well as, navigation in the middle. So, I’m going to start in the middle, because I think it’s the neatest.

In the middle, you can learn about King and Queens of England, Scotland and the United Kingdom. England and Scotland are up to 1603 and the United Kingdom is from 1603 to the present day. (You can find these links on the side menu too). Or, you can look just under that and use the drop down menu and tabs to choose the dynasty you want to learn about. The tabs let you choose what place to read about, from England, Scotland or the United Kingdom. As if that weren’t enough options, you can just put in a date and click the Go button to search by year. You can also check out the scrolling bar beneath the search engine to check out featured royal profiles.

The menu across the top has the options: The Monarchy Today, The Royal Family, History, Arts and Residences and Insight Magazine. In The Monarchy Today and The Royal Family, you will find out how the monarchy works, what the roles of the family members are and some biographies. I adored the Arts and Residences section, because you get to look at some of the Royal Art Collection, including an ancient cameo of Emperor Claudius.

There is a lot of information provided on the menu along the bottom as well. Here you find the Contact information, News, Media Center, How Do I, Freedom of Information, Children, Recruitment, Search, About and much, much more.

No matter how you choose to navigate this site, you are sure to learn a lot about the Monarchy, the United Kingdom and the people the monarchy serves. Are you ready to check it out?!
