The Paunsaugunt Wildlife Museum

With our wildlife disappearing more and more everyday, there is a museum that is preserving it for future generations to see. Since it’s located in Utah, I can’t just hop in the car and head there, so I have to be content with a computer chair trip there via the Web site.

You can learn all about the museum in the Museum Information and About Us section. Due to one man’s dedication, this museum has become one of the finest wildlife museums in the country.

To check out what the museum is like, you need to go to the Exhibits section. Here you can learn all about the different collections that they have at the museum. You can click on the pictures and it will load in another page, so you can scroll through all of the images. Each exhibit is painted to match their natural environment 100 percent. I can’t begin to imagine the time and effort that took.

I thought this site was pretty interesting. I hope you find it worth a glance. Sometimes I like to throw these sites on your radar just to introduce you all to something you may not have seen or known about before. I know I had no clue that these kinds of museums existed, but I sure am glad I know now!

Check it out!
