Let's Say Thanks

Let’s Say Thanks

Want to say thank you to the soldiers serving our country, but you don’t know how? Well, it can’t be any more simple than going to this site. How does it work? Well, you choose a postcard design from the ones that scroll across the page or you can click the View All Designs button. Select a postcard and then you fill in your name, hometown and state. You can select a message or you can choose Other and write your own. Click the Submit button when you are finished and your postcard will be sent to a soldier overseas to say thank you.

If you click the View All Designs button, you can access a side menu that has the following sections on it: Photo Gallery, Messages of the Week, From the Troops, In Your Words and Tell a Friend.

Photo Gallery – Here you can see a small gallery of this program in action. From candid images of soldiers to mailboxes filled with postcards, a nice little collage of images are waiting for you here.

Messages of the Week – Here you can read some of the personalized messages that were sent to soldiers. They are very touching. I couldn’t help but mist up a little at the sincerity and good wishes there.

From the Troops – Here you can delve into how the soldiers are touched by this simple act of kindness. You’ll find a letter from a soldier, a video and some pictures as well.

Tell A Friend – If you have a friend you want to share this site and program with, click this link and you can refer them to the site. It just takes your name, e-mail and their name and e-mail. Pretty simple, huh?

If you are involved in a children’s organization or you are a teacher, you may want to check out the Submit a Design section. There you can find all the details you need to make a submission and the entry form to do so.

If you choose one of the messages already there for you to choose from, the whole process of sending a postcard can take as little as a couple of minutes. I think we all have a couple of minutes to spare, don’t you?!
