Do you remember playing 20 Questions as a kid at parties? It’s a great game to play with your kids or grandkids on a rainy day or in a long car ride.
I played it as a child on long car trips with my mom. She would always start it out and then the winner would go next. We also played games like “I Spy” and the license plate game. (The license plate game was a competition to see who could see and call out the most states off the license plates of cars. My mom would keep track of the states we’d called out so that we didn’t repeat any. It was fun!)
As you can see, I remember playing 20 questions and the first question I have for you is, “Is it an animal, vegetable or mineral? If you visit this Web site, you will see the quiz that asks the same question. The quiz ponders whether what you see in the picture is an animal, vegetable or mineral. Sometimes, it is very hard to tell.
To play, just look at the picture and click the bullet by what you think it is. There are 16 questions in all and you’ll know instantly if you are right or wrong. My best score was 15 out of 16, so my memory must be slipping!
There are a lot of pictures that look like they could be an animal, but they are actually plants and there are a lot of minerals that look like animals and so on. They’re there to purposely trip you up, so remember to look closely.
I hope you had fun testing your knowledge of animals, vegetables and minerals. I know I did!
