To Smart Tag or Not To Smart Tag
Do you use Microsoft’s smart tags? You know, the icons that first appeared in Office XP, either above or below the data where actions were possible?

Well, maybe you never use them and you want to turn them off.
Or, maybe you find them extremely helpful and you would like to see if there are other smart tags available for use.
Whatever your position on smart tags, we all need to go to the same place, so go to the Tools menu, AutoCorrect Options choice.
Once here, you need to find the Smart Tags tab.
To turn them off completely, uncheck the “Label text with smart tags” box at the top of the tab.
Otherwise, for the rest of you, you’ll need to take a look at the list in the center of the window.

Here you’ll find a list of smart tags that you can choose to use by simply ensuring that the checkbox is selected.
Click OK when you’ve made your selections.
There you have it. A way to turn the smart tags off completely or at least select which smart tags you want displayed. Do it your way!
