I’ve been in good spirits since the start of the New Year and I’ve found this fun site that I just can’t wait to share with you. So, welcome to Line Rider, an interesting and interactive jaunt into your own imagination.
How does it work? Well, start by clicking Play. This will take you to the page with the instructions. Once you’ve read over the instructions, click Continue to begin.
Now, you have a drawing tool. Draw a line across the page. Make it as varied as you like. When you’re done, click Play and the little cartoon sled rider (it looks like a sled to me) will travel the course of the line you drew.
You’ll notice that there are icons across the top of the drawing area, such as a pencil, a hand, an arrow, a square, a trash bin and a diskette.
Pencil – This is the drawing tool. Click this to draw the lines for your sled rider to ride on.
Hand – This will move the canvas from side to side so that you can continue to draw your line and so your rider doesn’t fall off the face of the world.
Arrow – This is the Play button. Press this to start your rider’s journey.
Square – This is the Stop button. Pressing this button will stop the action. After stopping, you may want to try drawing more lines.
Trash Bin – This will erase the lines you’ve drawn and give you a fresh canvas to work on.
Diskette – This is the Save button that allows you to save your rider’s journey.
Well, you are now prepared to start drawing, so pick up that pencil, draw some lines and enjoy!
