While I’m bringing you this Web site for their Easter section, there are tons of great ideas and other information to last you all year long. I know I bookmarked this site and I’m sure that after visiting it, you’re going to do the same!
Navigation is super simple too. It’s all right there on the main page. You’ll find the following sections:
Easter Crafts – Here you will find crafts that take you from egg decorating to table decorating to Easter cards to hand out. There were a lot of crafts that were super easy to do with your kids here as well. Each craft project is rated from easy to difficult and is also marked for the recommended ages. There’s even a craft project for those egg shells you worked so hard to color!
Easter Activities – This section has coloring pages that you can print out for your kids to color for Easter. They come in three sizes of medium, large and card. Choose the size that suits your child’s coloring ability. Or, choose the card for them to color and give away to a loved one. You’ll also find some great Easter clip art choices and word puzzles here!
Plan an Egg Hunt – Want to have an Easter Egg hunt, but you’re uncertain as to where to begin? Get some great ideas here. From setting boundaries to color coding the eggs to make it fair, it’s all here. There’s even a piñata suggestion. Who would have thought a piñata at Easter, but it sure sounds like fun to me!
Easter Recipes – I don’t know of anyone who couldn’t use more recipes to add to their Easter dinner repertoire. I guess that’s because my mom always tried one new dish every year at Easter. Some were good, others were scary, but either way, it was always cool to eat something new with the old standards. Here you will find recipes for side dishes, appetizers, dinner and even dessert. I can’t wait to try out the Roasted Garlic Scalloped Potatoes recipe and maybe even the Easter Baby recipe.
Throw a Party – Want to throw a party for your friends and family this Easter? Or, maybe you already are, but are at a loss as to what to do? Well, here you will get great party ideas. Whether it’s Easter Bingo, Egg Hunt or everyone sitting down at the computer and playing some online Easter games, it is sure to be a good time!
Ask the Craft Expert – Here you can read the advice the craft expert has to offer you for Easter and Passover. From how to decorate eggs without a huge mess (I rather like the mess, but my mom always made cleaning it up as much fun as decorating the eggs) to submitting your own question to the expert for an answer, you’re sure to find plenty of ideas here!
Easter Movies – Here you will find a review on four Easter themed movies. They are “It’s the Easter Beagle,” “Charlie Brown,” “Easter Parade,” “Peter Cottontail: The Movie” and “Yogi, the Easter Bear!” In the reviews, you will not only learn what the movies are about (it’s better to decide if you want your kids to watch it), as well as, the recommend age range for them.
Talk About It – This is a great forum where you can not only get ideas for Easter from other parents, but share your own!
Well, I hope this site gave you some great ideas to include in your Easter celebration! I can’t wait to get home and visit with my family and eat all my mom’s delicious food. Have a very happy Easter, everyone!
