There is nothing like a site that lets you download wallpapers for free, which is exactly what this site does. Awesome, huh?!
The first thing I recommend doing is checking out the Read Me First document. It provides you with all the instructions you need to download and set these images up on your desktop.
To preview the images, just mouse over them and click the + (plus sign). This will give you the option to Preview or Download. If you choose Preview, it will load the image to its real size, instead of a thumbnail format.
Or, you can do that for the first image and then click on the image itself. It will take you to the next image in the gallery. It’s much easier to browse the gallery that way!
Once you’ve found the image you want, follow the directions for downloading and setting it up on your screen. Pretty easy, right?! My favorite picture and current desktop wallpaper is the picture of the lights reflected on water.
So, if you’d like to do the same thing, you can sign up for a Box account, which provides you storage for your files, photos and more. You can get the 1 GB for free too! All it takes is for you to fill out the form with your name, e-mail address and then create a password.
It is really easy to upload your photos too. Click the View Your Public Box link under your e-mail address at the top of the page and it should take you to your box where you will be told you have no content loaded. Click the Add New File to Your Box link.
You are now at step one of the uploading process. This is where you choose whether you want to publish your pictures publicly (where anyone can view them at box.net) or if you only want to share them with your personal friends. Then fill out a name for the files, any tags you’d like them to be searched under and a description. When you’re done, click Next.
To upload files, just click the Browse button and find them on your computer. Once you’ve selected the file you want, click the Upload button. The site will then upload the picture and you’re all done!
I uploaded a picture of my cat Simon and it was really easy!
With free wallpapers and getting your own free storage, how can you not visit this site?!
