Get the Glass

Get the Glass

This is a wonderful Web site to share with your children or grandchildren! The game is not only very fun to play, but it’s very educational as well. Welcome to Get the Glass, a game where your job is to make your way to Fort Fridge and Get the Glass. This game requires a Flash player, so to get one, go here.

This is an amazingly beautiful game. The board is all in 3D as well. To get a good look at it, you can choose 360 Degree Explore, which will show you the island in all its glory. Or, you can dive right into the action and get started with the Play Game option.

You start the game by rolling the dice. You move on the board according to what you’ve rolled. The spaces on the board have markings of both a letter and a color that will help to tell what will happen to you next.

There are Fortune, Misfortune, Master Mind, Hide Out and Hot Pursuit. Fortune cards will generally move you ahead spaces. These are always good to see. Misfortune is, of course, the opposite and it will move you backwards. Master Mind cards will ask you a trivia question and if you answer it correctly, you’ll get another turn. If you answer it incorrectly, you lose a turn.

Hide Out – You’re safe and get to roll again!

Hot Pursuit – These are mini games. If you beat the game, you escape capture. If you get caught, it’s straight to Milkatraz. Some of the events are Iron Vines, Lush Locks and State Park. Let me tell you, I despise Iron Vines. You have to drive through a curvy road and beat the clock without hitting the edges of the road!

Once you’ve been spotted, the Milkatraz Police will be hot on your tail, taking their turn directly after yours.

If you go to Milkatraz, which you most likely will, you have three options. One is Serve Your Sentence and it means you’ll lose a life. Second is Risk Escape, which is where you will spin a wheel of chance and anything can happen. Or thirdly, you can Post Bail by e-mailing a friend. Your friend has two minutes to post bail. At the end of the time, you will be informed if they did or not.

This is a great game, because it is beautifully done, educational and fun. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Now, I’m off to Get the Glass!
