Welcome to ChanceXchange, a place where you can trade your CDs, films and books for the ones you really want. I really like this Web site, because it seems to have a more fair exchange rate than some of the other sites I’ve seen.
Here you get points for each item you trade and you can use those points to get what you want. It’s totally free to use this service too! The only thing that comes out of your pocket is the shipping, which is fair enough, considering someone has to pay shipping to send you their stuff as well.
To join, click the Join Now link and fill out the registration form. Then get started filling out the Unwanted List (what you’re getting rid of from your collection) and your Wanted List (what you want to trade for). Or, you can just start browsing with the What’s On Offer link.
You’ll also find a red navigation bar across the top, once you’ve joined that has the following links: Menu, My Details, List New Item, My Trades, Items Available and Help.
I highly recommend you head over to the My Details section and fill in a username for yourself. It will be displayed along side all of your trades. The Help section was also very helpful for any questions that may arise while you’re browsing the site.
It’s pretty easy to get started. Just list something, trade it and then start browsing for what to spend your points on. I can’t wait to start getting rid of some excess books, movies and CDs.
