Welcome to the Web site devoted to helping you with Windows Vista. This site was developed to help you troubleshoot problems you may encounter with the new operating system. You’ll find help from the beginner level to intermediate to advanced to expert!
This site is easy to navigate as well! You’ll find the most recent articles posted right in the middle of the main page, so you will always know what’s new! The side menu also provides easy navigation between the different sections.
The sections are: Maintenance, Multimedia, Network, Security, Tips & Tricks, Software Reviews and Newsletter.
Maintenance – This section shows you how to keep Vista running smoothly. From backing up your files to creating partitions and why you might want to, you’ll find the tips you need to keep everything running perfect right here.
Multimedia – Some of my favorite things to do on the computer are play music, store photos or even try my hand at making a video. This section covers how you can do all of those things and more in Vista, without any trouble.
Network – Who hasn’t had a network problem? You know what? I still run into them now and again, so this section might just be a godsend. This section will show you how to transfer files between computers, how to create a wireless network and more importantly, how to keep your network accounts safe!
Security – I can remember a time when I didn’t have antivirus protection on my computer and I didn’t have to worry about hackers and viruses, but nowadays, you have to worry about your information getting into the hands of unscrupulous individuals and protecting yourself from invading viruses that want nothing more than to seek and destroy your hard drive. Well, this section covers spyware protection, antivirus features, firewalls and 10 reasons why you might not want to rely on Windows Defender.
Tips and Tricks – Here you can learn how to take a screenshot in Vista, manage shortcuts, change your background and more! These are a lot of the basic tips you’ll need to customize Windows Vista to meet your needs.
What I really loved about the tips on this site is that they are nice and concise, easy to follow and some of them even have videos that take you step by step through the process of what you need to do.
I haven’t made the switch to Vista yet, but if I do, I know I’ll be happy to have this site bookmarked for easy access. Check it out today!
