Firefox 2.0.0.5

Firefox 2.0.0.5

I know what you’re probably thinking. Another new version of Firefox! How can that be? Yes, it has only been a couple months since the last version (2.0.0.4) came out, but it just goes to show that Mozilla doesn’t like to waste any time. So, here are the details. Firefox 2.0.0.5 was released on July 17, 2007 and it is now available to download for any of you who are interested.

Now, by now you should know that Mozilla wouldn’t release a new version of their popular Web browser if there weren’t some changes made to it. There were several updates made to this version and if you’ll allow me, I’ll go over some of those with you right now. Fixes have been created for the following components: unauthorized access to certain documents, file type confusion, frame spoofing, certain memory crashes and so on.

If you’d like to see a full list of the changes that have been made for version 2.0.0.5 and previous versions alike, you can visit this Web site to do so. Also, if you’re ready to make the upgrade to Firefox 2.0.0.5, you can download it right from here. Just make sure you choose the correct operating system that you use and select the language you want your Firefox browser to be in. It’s just a quick install and then you’ll be able to rest assured that you’re being protected with all the newest updates for Firefox. It doesn’t get any better than that, now does it?!
