Coffee Break
When I write articles for WorldStart, I usually like to give some useful tips you all can use to increase your productivity while working on your computer.
But hey, sometimes you just need a coffee break, right?!
So, for a change in pace, I thought I would point you in the direction of a few different Web sites that will either absorb you or amuse you when you have time to take a break from all the serious stuff! (Now, just don’t blame me if you get in trouble with your boss for taking too long of a break to visit these sites). Here we go!
The Paper Throwing Game
You’ve probably all done this before. You know, the friendly office competition where you see who can get the ball of paper in the waste paper basket first. Well, now it’s computerized and it keeps the office more tidy too!

Go to this Web site, calculate the distance and the wind speed and then fire away!
Tumbling Teddy Bears
This one is just plain fun!
All you have to do is make the bears fall and you can then see them reform themselves. I could play for hours!

Here’s the link. Have fun!
Optical Illusions
This site brings you a whole series of weird and wonderful optical illusions!

It’s absolutely amazing how the eye can be deceived. Check them all out here.
Slow Motion Everything
Have you ever seen what a food mixer looks like in slow motion? Or, how about someone kicking a soccer ball?
Well, just about anything (within reason) you can think of has been recorded here for your education or amusement!

Here’s the link!
Amusing Web Site Names
Let this site be a lesson to you!
If you are setting up a new Web site and want a descriptive domain name, think about how others might see the name. It may not be as you intended. Take a look at these examples:

Visit this site and see others’ discomfort before it becomes your own!
Can You Beat the Record?
How long can you avoid getting crushed? There’s an 18 second record. Can you beat it?

Try your skill here!
So, there you are! A few of the best Web sites you can visit to spice up your coffee breaks.
But remember: If you get in trouble for spending too much time on these diversions from your boss, your spouse, your parents, children, grandchildren, dog or cat, it wasn’t me who told you about them. Have fun!
