Have you ever had a song stuck in your head that you only remember the tune for? Or, maybe you just have the chorus on repeat and can’t remember the verses. And let’s not even think about the song title! Well, now, there is relief for this. You can head on over to Midomi and sing or hum what you know and then search for the song!

All you need is a microphone and the willingness to sing the song! If you don’t have a microphone, don’t worry! You can still make great use of this Web site. All you need to do is a keyboard search, where you type in the name of the artist, song or user.

To use the Find Music With Your Voice option, grab your microphone and then click on the link that says “Click for singing search.” That will allow the application to find your microphone and you can then just sing or hum the song. When you’re done, just click on the arrow button next to the search field and it will start looking for a match.

Next, it will display all the matches to the song you sang. You can go through the list and see if it found what you were looking for. There’s also a video tour you can watch that explains how it all works.

If it didn’t find what you were looking for, you can sing it into the database. In order to do that though, you need to register for an account. Just fill out the form and click Continue.

Now, go to the Studio section and type in the name of the song you want to sing. Choose the version you want from the list or click on the link at the bottom and fill out the genre, artist and title information. Next, choose the language you will sing in.

When you’re ready to sing, press the Record button and just start singing. Don’t worry about messing up. You can do it until you get it right or until you’re happy with it. When you have it the way you want it, press Submit.

Are you ready to start singing? I know I am!
