If there’s one thing I’m admittedly horrible at, it’s keeping time zones straight. My mom went to Hawaii last summer and I was always waking her up, due to my inability to remember what time it was there. But with this Web site, I never have to worry about that again!
If the site loads and all you see is a map without instructions, just click on the Help! Instructions Please link on the top right of the page. That will give you the instructions window back. The instructions take you through the four steps you’ll need to get the most out of the site. They also give you tips for making it even easier to use!
Now, I don’t really have any need for the conference aspect of the site (where you set up conference times and such), but if you do, it’s there. I only wanted it so that I would know when it was safe to call people in different time zones. To do that, just click on a destination on the map to check its time zone.
To do the conferencing part, click on the Click Here to Begin Scheduling button. Next, click the location on the map you’re going to conference with. I fully recommend zooming in to get the best placement.
When you have the location set, you can choose the time and date for the conference on the calendar. Then just press the E-mail button to e-mail the information to the other conference participants. Cool, huh?!
