Rainy Mood

I love this site! If you ever have trouble sleeping or just want something that is relaxing playing the background so you can concentrate, you need to head over to this site. When you arrive, you’ll hear a gentle rainfall with the sound of distant thunder interjected occasionally.

This is my new go to site for working on school work (regular music is distracting because I get wrapped up in singing along, looking up lyrics, adding artists to my collection, or if it is instrumental music humming along or adding composers to my collection) because it isn’t distracting.

The other way I use this site is to set up my laptop in the bedroom, and set the display to turn off after a minute, so that I can let the sounds of gentle rainfall lull me into a deep sleep. You can also turn the video display off for the web site (the glass with water beading on it) by clicking the Video Off link at the bottom of the page.

Everyday they feature a different song. You’ll find it underneath the Rainy Mood logo. It is a link that reads “Today’s Music – and then the name of song” if you click that a video will open that plays the featured song.

If you like Rainy Mood as much I do, make sure that you share it over your favorite social network. They want to get the word out about the site via social networking. They provide a way to share the site over Facebook, Twitter, E-mail, Reddit, Stumble Upon, Tumblr, Linked In, and many more social networking sites.

I think you’ll love this site as much as I do! Go check it out today!

  1. Love the rain, Amanda, but when I click on Today’s Song I get a message that the video contains content from UMG and is not available in my country. Not sure what UMG is, and I’m in the US (Lyle, WA). Curious to know if you’ve experienced this.
    Cheers…

  2. This is great – for one or two loops. But this thing plays when I open Firefox all the time, and I don’t know how to get rid of it. Is is supposed to? Is it on one of my tabs or something? Because I save a lot of tabs that open every time I open Firefox, but the actual site isn’t one of them. Seriously, can someone help? I’d like to watch videos again.
