Have you ever been at your computer or on a mobile device and needed a good calculator? Of course there is Windows built-in calculator, but now there is also a great option from Google.
If you search Google for the term “calculator”, you will be presented with this:

Functions are supported – include adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, sine, cosine, tangent, root, square, pi and many more. Google is rumored to be working on a graphing calculator version of this free calculator.
One really fantastic feature is you can type in an entire equation into the calculator before hitting equal.

For example: (2*(8*(1/4))/7)^3 would normally have to be done on a normal calculator in at least 4 steps, but on the Google calculator you just type it in as written, click = and you get the answer!
For those of you who’ve forgotten this kind of math, it would be:
- 8 x 1/4 = 2.
- 2 x 2 = 4
- 4 / 7 = 0.571428571428
- 0.571428571428 ^ 3 = 0.1865889213 (We rounded)
Pretty cool huh?
