Lecture Fox

Welcome to Lecture Fox  – a site devoted to bringing you free lectures on many different subjects!

When I first started contemplating going back to school and getting a degree, I entertained the idea of going into Computer Science. I love computers, and had already dabbled in web design and very basic programming, but I was worried it would be too math intensive, so I went into the Humanities instead. But even that didn’t kill my desire to learn more about programming, so when I found Lecture Fox (and there was an open course from Harvard on Computer Science) I knew that I was going to have to work my way gleefully through it.

Then I saw all the other courses that were available, like Learning Chinese: A Foundation Course in Mandarin, Introduction to Geology, and the History of Information, just to list a few. You’ll find courses in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Language, Programming, Application Building, History, Literature, and Art. All of them are free, and you can work through them at your own pace.

Navigation is easy – just scroll down the page and select the course you want to check out. Want more courses? Click the Next or More links at the bottom of the page. Want just Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Mathematics? Click the links on the right side of the page to filter the course list.

This is an awesome site, and you should bookmark it so you can come back and take different courses whenever you want to!
