John from Turlock, CA writes: In Yahoo Maps, how do you set the Default location? Currently Stockton CA is the location that the site opens to.
Answer: Here’s how to do it, John:
Click the arrow by the location and click on edit next to No default location selected.

You should see a notification that you haven’t selected a default location. Choose Add Location.

Type in your default location and press enter.

Now you have a new default location. If you’d like to change the default location, click the arrow next to the location and choose Manage Locations from the drop-down menu.

Click change next to the Default Location and type in the new location.

Hope that helps.

I have attempted several times to change the Default location, but unable to save my changes. I have Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 9. I seem to remember that there are some features that don’t work with out being in Windows 7. Is that my problems?
