Larry, it’s pretty simple. Start by going to Outlook.com. You’ll see a log in screen with an option to Sign up now. Click on Sign up now.
If you already have a Hotmail, SkyDrive or Xbox LIVE account you can sign in and claim an Outlook.com email address. Otherwise, you fill out the basic information, create a password and accept the terms of service and you’ve got an Outlook.com account.
