FavSync

I often recommend that you bookmark or favorite sites (depending on the  browser you’re using) but if you don’t take the time organize them when you save them, eventually you end up with a big long list of random bookmarks. Ask me how I know. 

Desperately in need of organizing my bookmarks, and with a list of them that was long and overwhelming, I decided to search the internet to see if there was something that would do it for me. Or at the very least make the task of organizing them easier. I found FavSync. 

FavSync is a universal bookmark manager that you can access from anywhere (mobile device, tablet, desktop pc, laptop, etc.)  it  organizes long lists of uncategorized bookmarks, categorizes them automatically, stores them on the cloud and presents them in a new, clear way that is easy to use. 

When you arrive at the site you’ll have three main options: Try It Without Signing Up, Sign Up, and Full List of Features. You also can click Watch Video at the top of the page. If you idle when you first arrive it will start going through the slideshow. I’d recommend watching the video first and then click the Try It Without Signing Up button. This will let you try the features and see if you like the way it works. Click around, drag and drop, add new links, whatever you want to try doing. 

Then if you decide you’d like to use it you can either go back and click the Sign Up button or you can click the black Whenever You’re Ready Sign Up button at the top right of the Try It page.  Once you’re on the Sign Up page, it is easy to register! You can either F-connect (you know I did it) or you can fill out the traditional registration form and then click the Blue send button.
