A major flaw discovered in Internet Explorer has security experts advising users to not access the web with that browser until Microsoft comes up with a fix.
This flaw affects Internet Explorer versions 6 through 11.
According to Microsoft: “An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could take complete control of an affected system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights.”
Hackers have already gone after some banks and financial institutions in an attempt to exploit this flaw. Microsoft is currently working on patching this vulnerability and will offer security updates as soon as they have a solution. In the meantime, it’s a good idea to use the Chrome or Firefox browsers as an alternative.
For Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1 users, this flaw will eventually be patched. However, Windows XP users will be left out in the cold. This will be the first major security issue not to be patched in the system since Microsoft ended security support.

First off I have the utmost respect for WS. About this warning. I just installed windows 7(took windows XP off)on a second pc that I have and I was useig explorer 11. I switched to Google Chrome and it was like my pc became possessed. Even though popup blocker was on I got bombed twice with pop ups. I was redirected to sites I did not ask for, a total mess. So I shut down my PC and ran my virus program and discovered 4 trojens that I know was not there when I signed on and I always run my virus program when I get off the web. What happened do you think something was left over from internet explorer or maybe explorer is still running?
