Should I Dual-Boot Windows 10?

Will it be possible to create a partition for Win 10,install Win 10, keep Win 8.1 and double boot?

Tom, if you would like to test out the Windows 10 Technical Preview (an option I suggest only for the tech-savvy), you certainly can as long as you allow enough room in your partition. In fact, I’d suggest that method until the final version of Windows 10 is ready to go. We’re running the Windows 10 Technical Preview here in a dual boot with Windows  7.

When it comes time to get the free upgrade from 8.1 to 10, you will have to upgrade your current 8.1 license to 10 in order to receive the free upgrade.
